SOAR Experiences is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit whose mission is to empower persons with limited mobility thru outdoor recreation experiences. In 2025, we significantly expanded our offerings to 9 venues in NY & CT with no fee to guests and their caregivers. We worked with 196 limited mobility guests in 2025 and expect to exceed 300 in 2026. Help us to continue offering affordable quality experiences. Our fundraising target is $8,000 to help pay part of our transportation expenses for our 2026 Public Hikes. 100% of all donations from this event go to SOAR Experiences. Choose Friday only, Saturday only or both days. This Coach & Drive requires registration (no drop-ins please). We are planning for up to 20 vehicles on Friday and 25 vehicles on Saturday.
- Friday (20 spots available):
- Arrival 3pm-4pm (sunset 4:27pm)
- Safety briefing 4:15pm
- Coach & Drive 4:30pm-6pm
- Hors D’oeuvres at local restaurant; arrive 6:30pm-7pm
- Overnight camping in Ellenville or make your own lodging arrangement
- Saturday (25 spots available):
- Arrival 8am-9am
- Breakfast treats & coffee from a local bakery 8:30am – 9am
- Safety briefing 9:15am
- Coach & Drive 9:30am-12pm
- Light lunch 12pm-12:45pm
- 12:45pm Raffles – winners need not be present but prizes must be picked up at NORA by 12/20/25
- 1pm Goodbyes
