The NORA property has 75-acres of beginner to advanced terrain for off-road driving and vehicle recovery training. The more challenging terrain includes bypasses so participants can observe as instructors coach the group through harder obstacles. Typical onsite duration is 3 hours, however participants should allot up to 4 hours based on trail conditions, group size and possible vehicle recovery needs. This format is also available for private group outings, contact us for more information. Rental vehicles may be available.

This class runs on the same day as Getting Unstuck: Safe Winching Skills (9am-12pm).  Register for the winching class and add-on this Coach & Drive to save $100 for a full day of Learning, Adventure & Fun.

Length: 3 hours, class may run longer based on trail conditions and number of rigs.
Location: NORA’s Ellenville, NY Training Center.
Off Road Driving Experience Level: Participants should have experience driving off-road in 4-Low.
Terrain:  Rocks, tight woodland trails, hills and off-camber sections.
Requirements: Bring your stock (unmodified) or modified 4 wheel drive vehicle with 4-low and front/rear recovery points.  Vehicle must be street legal, registered & insured. Drivers must have a valid drivers license.
Food: This class does not include a meal. Water, coffee, tea and light snacks will be available.
Vehicle Rentals: Rent a NORA trail rig for the class; contact us to confirm availability before registering.
